Kristal is passionate about using policy as a tool to drive transformative change. She worked most recently at Minds Matter Boston, a college access organization where Kristal supported over 150 first-generation high school students on their journey to and through college. She was previously in a Spanish-speaking specialist role at Big Sister Boston, where she supported families and young girls with resource allocation and mentorship. Kristal also has teaching experience through an apprenticeship with the Citizen Schools program. She also served as the Education Lead for the Future Education Leaders Network’s Planning Committee, a fellowship program sponsored by the Rennie Center for Education Research & Policy.
Education
Kristal earned a bachelor's degree in communications and a master's degree in educational policy studies, both from Boston University.
